Loose Mineral Foundation Base

This loose Mineral Base is an unique blend of natural mineral powders to be used as a base for coloured mineral make-up.  This versatile non-micronised (no nano particles) powder blend that can be used in many different skin care products and will provide cosmetic artist and formulators with a standardised and homogeneous  master blend consisting out of different speciality powders.  Contains magnesium stearate for improved film-forming and adherence properties (often required in eye shadows). Provides light coverage and mixes easily with pigments, micas and other colorants. Fine white to off-white powder, no odour. Insoluble but miscible in water & oils. This blend also includes various mica, silica and kaolin powders with addition of only a hint of titanium dioxide to provide an extremely versatile sheer untinted foundation base.  This mineral base can be modified and coloured as required to make mineral makeup, powder foundation, eyeshadow, mascara & blusher.

Use & Application

For mineral makeup; mix base with iron oxide pigments or “pigment blends”.  For eye shadows or blush; mix base with mica pigments.  Mineral Foundation base provides the basis of natural looking skin without the heavy make-up feeling, diminishes fine lines & wrinkles, spherical mineral components give nice velvet feel.

Application: Makeup products including; mineral makeup, face powders, powder foundations, eye shadows, eyeliners, mascara and blusher, as well as bronzers.
