Description
Sodium Laureth Sulphate is a primary surfactant and is extensively used in shampoos and bodywash preparations and many other detergent solutions. Palm-derived, high foaming, anionic surfactant extensively used in the formulating and manufacturing industries both cosmetic and industrial. It is a higher foaming variation of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and its an ethoxylated version with 2 or 3 moles of EO.
this surfactant offers excellent emulsification, dispersion, wetting, solubilizing performance together with a good foaming property in addition shows solvency, and offers thickening effect with sodium chloride (salt), wide mixing compatibility, is not affected by hard water and has a high biodegradability; good skin compatibility and low irritation to both skin and eyes.
