Vegan Petroleum Jelly

Description

Our Vegan petroleum jelly is a formulated blend of castor oil, castor wax and carnauba wax forming a viscous, emollient gel that can be used as base for vegan lip care products or as an alternative to petrolatum in cosmetic products.   This Vegan Petroleum Jelly is a functional alternative to petrolatum and consists of a formulated vegetable gel technology using natural ingredients. It builds viscosity and improves feel of anhydrous formulations. It provides a similar water repellency and TEWL to petrolatum with a less greasy, less tacky feel, reduces expensive natural waxes in anhydrous formulations, increases melting temperature of anhydrous products, when compared to using petrolatum.

Melting point 67±5ºC,  Water-insoluble, dispersible in oils and organic solvents.
